About The Position

Rockford's Construction Management Internship gives students practical hands-on jobsite experience and develops a deeper understanding of how different project types are planned, managed, and built. Interns work alongside experienced superintendents and project teams on active jobsites, gaining firsthand insight into the day-to-day management of construction projects. Depending on project needs and opportunities, interns may have the chance to travel to jobsites across the regions we serve. In addition to valuable on-the-job learning, interns participate in training, volunteer opportunities, and company-wide networking events designed to support their professional growth.

Requirements

Must be a student seeking practical, hands-on jobsite experience.
Ability to understand how construction projects are planned, managed, and built.
Willingness to work alongside experienced superintendents and project teams.
Ability to gain insight into day-to-day construction project management.
Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.
Ability to participate in training, volunteer opportunities, and networking events.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times outside the job trailer.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
