This is an entry-level position where the successful candidate must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The candidate will work with the crew on the construction of both aerial and buried coax, copper, and fiber optic cables, according to company construction practices and procedures. This role requires the ability to work aloft utilizing climbing gaffs, ladders, and mechanical lifts, and to operate company vehicles and equipment including bucket trucks, fork lifts, backhoes/trenchers, and other machines. The position involves working outdoors in various elements and requires reading network design prints, maintaining daily log sheets and inventory paperwork, and adhering to NESC construction guidelines and company safety policies.
