About The Position
The job of a Construction Laborer is to assist and work closely with the foreman of the cleaning or televising crew. The Construction Laborer is expected to complete a variety of different tasks, which may vary on a day-to-day basis. To succeed in this role, you should be a fast learner, have good listening skills, have the ability to read maps and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read & understand maps
- Willing to travel out of town & overnight throughout the year
- Organization, multitasking, and time management
Nice To Haves
- Class B CDL with tanker is preferred, but not required.
- Construction background preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Haul water with pick-up truck and trailer
- Help set up and take down at manholes
- Set up work zone traffic control
- Keep company vehicles organized and stocked for the job
- Fill out pre-trip inspection form daily and turn in
- Understand materials and equipment used in the industry
- Operate and drive company vehicle to and from project sites
- Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of duties in this job classification
