About The Position
Ulliman Schutte is a national leader in the construction and renovation of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated utility work. We are seeking experienced Construction Laborers for our construction projects. This is a prevailing wage project.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- At least one year of experience as a Construction Laborer.
- Knowledge of common safety practices on a construction site.
- Team player.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Must pass a post-offer drug screen and physical.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience operating construction equipment (skid steer, telehandler, backhoe) or willingness/aptitude to learn to operate.
- Bilingual – Spanish/English
Responsibilities
- Work outside in various weather conditions, both hot and cold.
- Walk, stand, twist, bend, and stoop for entire shift.
- Follow instructions of Foreman and Superintendent while working in a team setting.
- Work a 40-hour work week with possible overtime.
