Construction Laborer (Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm)
About The Position
Performs construction tasks including, but not limited to: Drywall (up to level 3 finish), basic framing techniques and terminology, flooring repairs, base cove installation, assisting in larger flooring installations, and painting with attention to detail. Maintains an organized and stocked tool cart/bag, requests and replenishes materials, and ensures a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing protective equipment. Tracks assigned construction projects/tasks, ensures timely completion, and communicates progress to the project manager and/or supervisor. Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education level.
- Minimum two (2) years of construction or related experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs construction tasks including drywall up to level 3 finish.
- Performs basic framing techniques and demonstrates knowledge of framing terminology.
- Performs flooring repairs, base cove installation, and assists in larger flooring installations.
- Paints with attention to detail, requiring little to no rework.
- Maintains an organized and stocked tool cart/bag.
- Requests for and/or replenishes materials and supplies as necessary.
- Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and wears protective equipment as required.
- Tracks assigned construction projects/tasks and ensures completion in a timely manner while adhering to operational standards.
- Communicates progress to project manager and/or supervisor.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at the direction of management.
