About The Position

Clinton Engineering (CEC), a member of the McCarthy-Bush family of companies, is a full-service general contractor and leader in construction in the Clinton Community and surrounding areas since 1926. CEC specializes in design-build, new construction, rehabilitation, and renovation of commercial, industrial, and municipal projects, utilizing a local, experienced workforce that self-performs in various trades including carpentry, concrete paving, steel fabrication & erection, and excavation. CEC is currently seeking reliable and safety-oriented Construction Laborers for its Steel Erection team to work on field and industrial projects across the Clinton, IA area. In this role, you will be involved in steel building erection, steel layout, steel fabrication and assembly, welding, and other physical tasks. Depending on your experience, you may also operate machinery such as skid steers, AWP/scissors lifts, rollers, excavators, and heavy trucks. You will work alongside a team to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

Prior experience working with steel erection a plus
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Prior experience in steel erection, concrete work, or carpentry is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Play a vital role in steel building erection, steel layout, steel fabrication and assembly, welding, and other physical tasks.
