Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
Valid State-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Vehicle insurance which meets Alston Construction liability coverage requirements.
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach.
Occasionally required to crawl.
Repetitive use of keyboard and mouse.
Extensive reading from documents and computer.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist Estimating/Preconstruction with preparing Invitations to Bid (ITBs), soliciting trade proposals, developing estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and proposal development.
Assist Superintendent with coordinating subcontractor meetings, performing/verifying/maintaining punch lists, and conducting jobsite inspections.
Assist Project Manager with Requests for Information (RFIs), records retention, preparing change orders, and reviewing drawings and plans.
Participate in applicable monthly project reviews, project meetings, corporate meetings, and forums.
Comply with all safety policies, report safety concerns, recommend safety enhancements, and support the company's safety culture.
