About The Position

Our Transportation division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver engineering solutions that move people in a smarter way. We provide full-service planning, design and construction management services on everything from roadways and bridges to airports, stormwater infrastructure, and parks/recreation projects primarily for state and local agencies and municipalities.

Requirements

• Studying civil engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to learn new construction applications.

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support construction engineers and technicians on construction projects including the installation of various underground utilities, resurfacing and reconstruction of roadways and the rehabilitation and replacement of bridges.
• Learn to understand and read project plans and specifications.
• Gain well-rounded experience by working on all types of projects and being mentored by experts in the construction field.
• Take responsibility for project documentation and measuring the work performed by contractors.
• Witness standard construction operations such as excavating, paving, concrete pours, traffic control and more.
