About The Position

In this 10-week specialized program, you will work in our Merchandising division. You will assist the Design & Merchandising teams and will be exposed to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses. Project Interns will be assigned a group project and a mentor to help provide coaching & support throughout the project. The project will be presented in the final week to various leaders within the organization. The goal is to research and present a solution or recommendation based on white space within the company. This will give interns an opportunity to work with cross-functional departments and individuals across our multiple locations to put together a solution to create a positive change.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday
• Able to commit to the full duration of the internship program (10 weeks)
• Thrives in collaborative settings and understands the value of cross-functional alignment
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
• Looking to gain hands-on experience

Nice To Haves

• Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Marketing/Business Majors a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to develop the seasonal product line that addresses customer needs and specific brand visions.
• Reviewing selling reports and shopping the competitive retail landscape to identify white space opportunities and bring new product ideas to fruition.
• Assisting with/ line sheet and sample preparation for customer and licensor meetings
• Entering specs into our Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) System to keep track of samples, costing, and adoption of new styles.
• Checking in and organizing development samples from the factories
• Working with/ International suppliers directly through daily email communication
