About The Position
The Construction Control Representative will provide field inspection, construction monitoring, documentation, and contract-compliance support for USACE construction projects. This role involves ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements through on-site inspection of construction activities.
Requirements
- Construction inspection or construction management experience.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Construction inspection, documentation, QA/QC, plans and specifications, field reporting, deficiency tracking, and contract compliance skills.
Nice To Haves
- USACE experience
- Federal construction inspection experience
- Experience with RMS or similar systems
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction activities for contract compliance.
- Document daily progress, labor, equipment, materials, and site conditions.
- Identify deficiencies and track corrective actions.
- Review contractor work for quality and completeness.
- Support quantity verification and payment reviews.
- Coordinate testing and inspections.
- Maintain photographs, reports, and construction records.
