About The Position

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Co-op to work with construction managers and engineers on public, federal, and industrial projects. The co-op will support proposals and projects in both field and office settings. Field support may include mobilization, measurements and layouts, assisting the field crew, and project documentation. Office support may include contacting subcontractors and vendors, reviewing project documents, attending meetings, and general office assistance. The role primarily supports the project manager, superintendent, and construction specialists. No travel is required.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support proposals and projects in field and office settings.
• Assist with mobilization, field measurements and layouts, field crew activities, and project documentation.
• Contact subcontractors and vendors, review project documents, attend meetings, and provide general office assistance.
• Support the project manager, superintendent, and construction specialists.
