About The Position

Perimeter Solutions Group (PSG) is hiring Construction Apprentices for its Tampa, Florida team. This full-time, year-round role offers paid, hands-on training in commercial fencing and perimeter security installation, with opportunities to advance. PSG completes more than 1,000 commercial fencing projects annually across the United States and describes its work environment as supportive and team-oriented. Pay is $16–$20 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable using basic construction tools and reading a tape measure.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of fence installation, construction, or general labor experience.
• Experience driving trucks and towing trailers.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial fencing, gates, and perimeter security systems.
• Work with chain link, vinyl/PVC, wood, aluminum, and temporary fencing.
• Measure and lay out fence lines according to project specifications.
• Dig post holes, set posts, and install rails, wire, gates, and hardware.
• Use hand tools, power tools, augers, and other construction equipment.
• Load, unload, and safely transport materials.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
