About The Position

Perimeter Solutions Group is hiring a full-time Construction Apprentice for its team in McDonough, Georgia. This is year-round work installing commercial fencing, gates, and perimeter security systems. The role is suited to dependable, hands-on candidates who want to learn a skilled trade; paid training is provided, and opportunities for advancement are available. The company completes more than 1,000 commercial fencing projects each year across the United States and describes its work environment as supportive and team-oriented.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of fence installation, construction, or general labor experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfort using basic construction tools and reading a tape measure.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving trucks and towing trailers is a plus.
• Previous experience in fencing, construction, landscaping, roofing, concrete, or general labor.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial fencing, gates, and perimeter security systems.
• Work with chain link, vinyl/PVC, wood, aluminum, and temporary fencing.
• Measure and lay out fence lines according to project specifications.
• Dig post holes, set posts, and install rails, wire, gates, and hardware.
• Use hand tools, power tools, augers, and other construction equipment.
• Load, unload, and safely transport materials.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
