About The Position

Perimeter Solutions Group is hiring a full-time Construction Apprentice for its McDonough, Georgia team. The role involves installing commercial fencing, gates, and perimeter security systems using materials such as chain link, vinyl/PVC, wood, aluminum, and temporary fencing. Paid training is provided, and motivated team members may have opportunities to advance. The position offers year-round work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Comfort using basic construction tools and reading a tape measure.
• Dependability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of fence installation, construction, or general labor experience is preferred.
• Experience driving trucks and towing trailers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial fencing, gates, and perimeter security systems.
• Work with chain link, vinyl/PVC, wood, aluminum, and temporary fencing.
• Measure and lay out fence lines according to project specifications.
• Dig post holes, set posts, and install rails, wire, gates, and hardware.
• Use hand tools, power tools, augers, and other construction equipment.
• Load, unload, and safely transport materials.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Work as part of a crew to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
