About The Position
Remington College, a non-profit/non-traditional institution with high ethical standards, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic construction and building maintenance professional to join their academic team on a full-time basis. The role involves educating students eager to train in construction and building maintenance, fostering a culture where employees can make a difference.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experienced in electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, small appliance maintenance, drywall and carpentry repairs, and plumbing maintenance.
- At least three (3) years of experience in construction and building maintenance.
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree or higher in construction and building maintenance, HVAC, business, the physical sciences, or a related field desired.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and evaluate students in your area of specialty.
- Keep up to date with and effectively use technology and media in the classroom.
- Track student attendance and post assignment feedback in a timely manner.
- Attend faculty/staff and in-service meetings.
- Implement and adhere to all school policies.
- Participate in graduation ceremonies.
- Perform other duties/participate in special projects as assigned.
