About The Position

Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF) is seeking a Construction Administrator to support project delivery during the construction phase. Working in coordination with project managers and design teams, the role ensures that construction work is administered in accordance with project terms, plans, specifications, and budgets. The Construction Administrator administers construction-phase activities and documentation, reviews contractor submissions and project progress, coordinates communication among project stakeholders, and helps address technical, quality, contractual, cost, schedule, and documentation concerns. The role may serve as lead RPR on complex assignments, guide RPR employees, and assist with inspections, project closeout, and quality assurance and control. Construction administration must remain within DBF’s contractual authority and must not assume responsibility for contractor means, methods, sequencing, procedures, or site safety beyond DBF’s contractual scope.

  • Serve as lead RPR on complex construction assignments when required, conducting advanced construction observations and evaluating apparent compliance with contract documents.
  • Coordinate RPR activities and field coverage when assigned; review field reports, quantity records, as-built documentation, photographs, and other construction records for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
