About The Position
The Constant Companion assists with the delivery of patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility is individual supervision and direct observation of a patient. The role participates as a caregiver on a Patient Care Team, takes responsibility for the quality of their own work, and remains flexible in response to change. The position functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager.
Requirements
- High school equivalent.
- Prior experience working with patients or clients, or being a student in a health-related field, is preferred.
- BCLS certification is preferred.
