Consolidation Technician
About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking a Consolidation Technician to work at its La Porte, Texas facility. The technician works on receiving docks, unloading vans and box trucks and sorting electronic waste received from retailers. The role includes operating forklifts across multiple ramps and docks, completing receiving paperwork, using a computer and scanning equipment to track waste and resolve load discrepancies, and performing manual loading and unloading. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday on second shift, 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays. Training may take place on day shift, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $20.00 per hour or more, plus a $1.75 shift differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.

Responsibilities
- Follow health and safety policies and processes and act safely at all times.
- Operate forklifts on multiple ramps and docks to receive and offload waste containers from vans and box trucks.
- Complete and submit required paperwork for receiving electronic waste into the facility.
- Use a computer to enter waste tracking information and identify and track load discrepancies found while scanning.
- Manually load and unload incoming loads.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
