About The Position

Doyle Security Services is seeking experienced Console Operators for a Corporate Location in White Plains, NY. This role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure the security and safety of property and personnel. The operator will conduct periodic tours to check for irregularities, maintain order, and enforce site regulations. The position requires the ability to stand for the majority of the workday.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
1-3 years Console Operator Experience
Valid NYS Security Guard License
Must be available to work weekends
Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
Reliable transportation
Must be able to understand the English language and communicate it effectively in both the verbal and written form
Some positions may require a 7-year consistent work history

Nice To Haves

Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience.

Responsibilities

Communicating with managers and security personnel
CCTV monitoring and access control
Alarm monitoring
Maintain knowledge of client sites and status of security personnel
Handling emergency phone calls in accordance with established procedures
Provide detailed reports
Provide situational awareness of issues occurring throughout the region through internet observation, news media reporting and establish inter-group communication with other support elements.
