Under minimal direction, this position is responsible for coordinating energy, water, or natural resource conservation programs, projects, and plans. This role is part of Austin Energy's Energy Efficiency Services group, which allocates over $20 million/year in community incentives for high-efficiency HVAC, lighting, and other building upgrades. The position will work with local businesses to perform field inspections, provide energy assessments and technical assistance, and support program design and delivery. Candidates with electrical experience and certifications will be responsible for closing building permits. This position requires field work at customer sites, including the use of ladders and other tools/equipment.
