About The Position

Shepherd Church is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-minded Connections Team Member to create an exceptional experience for families and guests in Shepherd Kids. This role serves as the first point of contact for many families, playing a vital role in helping children and parents feel welcome during weekend services and various events, ensuring everyone feels valued and meaningfully connected.

  • Comfortable learning and utilizing church management systems and administrative tools.
  • Ability to recruit, coordinate, and care for volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for new families at Shepherd Kids.
  • Oversee weekend check-in, guest registration, and lobby operations.
  • Welcome families and answer any questions that come up.
  • Work at and schedule additional support needed for all Shepherd Kids and Shepherd Youth events to ensure an exceptional experience for kids and their families.
  • Recruit, schedule, and care for guest experience volunteers.
  • Track guest engagement and first-time family registrations.
  • Follow up with new families and help them get connected to Shepherd Church.
