Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • US citizenship required

  • Has experience with publish/subscribe technologies and messaging products such as Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and/or Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end operational health of the platform, ensuring systems stay secure, available, and performing to standard across production and non-production environments.
  • Lead a full-spectrum O&M practice spanning monitoring, availability and resiliency, configuration management, system administration, incident response, deployment support, and auditing, rather than managing these as isolated functions.
  • Build and maintain resilient, highly available infrastructure with proactive failure detection, automated recovery, and well-tested contingency plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability, using metrics and reporting to catch issues early and demonstrate SLA compliance.
  • Provide tiered technical support (from routine user issues through complex, code-level fixes) with the responsiveness needed to keep the mission running.
  • Guide smooth transitions, whether onboarding new releases, migrating data, or decommissioning legacy systems, with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Champion strong configuration management and audit discipline as the backbone of a secure, well-governed environment.
