Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 15+ years of related experience
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • US citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certification in cloud technologies utilized by the Customer, such as AWS, Azure, Oracle and Google
  • Experience with publish/subscribe technologies and messaging products such as Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ), RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, and/or Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS).

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage all project requirements in the approved electronic repository (Jira).
  • Own the overarching system architecture, translating business needs and evolving requirements into a coherent, implementable technical vision for the portfolio.
  • Serve as the connective thread across infrastructure, data, and applications, ensuring interfaces, monitoring, and audit capabilities integrate cleanly and the data layer stays compatible with infrastructure, operating systems, and middleware.
  • Build alignment across a broad set of stakeholders, gathering input from technical teams, mission partners, and leadership to keep the architecture grounded in real operational needs.
  • Set the technical direction for the future, maintaining a living roadmap and staying ahead of industry trends to recommend the right technologies and techniques at the right time.
  • Champion technically sound, scalable, and secure design, holding development activity to a high bar as systems evolve and modernize.
  • Bring structure and consistency, tracking requirements systematically and ensuring the architecture is well governed through applicable reviews and control gates.
  • Develop and recommend guiding principles, definitions, and standards for system assets, along with a comprehensive automated test approach.
