Requirements

Actively pursuing BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T drafting standards
BOM creation / maintenance using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
Teamwork approach, presentation skills, ability to resolve conflicts
Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of engineering assignments related to new product development and/or enhancement of existing products
Creation and maintenance of engine bill of materials (BOM)
Review engineering changes / revisions to both engineering procedures and drawings
Create and execute engineering change orders (ECOs) using PLM software
Consult with customers on designs and specifications
Assist ODA group with FAA certification effort
Coordinate activities with Director, Configuration Management and Regulations to ensure business and development goals will be achieved
May be required to interface with suppliers
Assisting with creating, developing & documenting engine and component designs.
Assuring technical work is done according to defined processes and that work products conform to established standards.
Supporting legacy products, acting as technical resource for cross-functional departments such as Procurement, Operations, and Quality.
Providing engineering support to experimental engine testing and production parts manufacturing and engine assembly.
