Requirements

  • Actively pursuing BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T drafting standards
  • BOM creation / maintenance using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred)
  • Teamwork approach, presentation skills, ability to resolve conflicts
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills with high attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of engineering assignments related to new product development and/or enhancement of existing products
  • Creation and maintenance of engine bill of materials (BOM)
  • Review engineering changes / revisions to both engineering procedures and drawings
  • Create and execute engineering change orders (ECOs) using PLM software
  • Consult with customers on designs and specifications
  • Assist ODA group with FAA certification effort
  • Coordinate activities with Director, Configuration Management and Regulations to ensure business and development goals will be achieved
  • May be required to interface with suppliers
  • Assisting with creating, developing & documenting engine and component designs.
  • Assuring technical work is done according to defined processes and that work products conform to established standards.
  • Supporting legacy products, acting as technical resource for cross-functional departments such as Procurement, Operations, and Quality.
  • Providing engineering support to experimental engine testing and production parts manufacturing and engine assembly.
