About The Position

Join KBR in supporting the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires SHIELD Project Office in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting the PATRIOT Advanced Capability Program. As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will support the Project Office activities by ensuring effective implementation and oversight of configuration management processes across the system lifecycle. This role focuses on maintaining configuration control, supporting documentation management, and ensuring traceability and compliance with contractual and technical requirements. You will work closely with engineering, logistics, and other stakeholders to manage change control, support audits and reviews, and resolve configuration-related issues to ensure program success.

Requirements

  • Must have Active SECRET security clearance
  • High School diploma with 11 years of relevant experience, OR Associate degree with 9 years of relevant experience, OR BS/BA and 8 years, OR MS/MA and 6 years
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Windchill desired
  • Experience with Contracts and Acquisition Management, Program and Budget analysis, Technical Editing and Writing, as well as all areas of Configuration and Data Management.
  • Data Rights and Intellectual Property expertise are also desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support government customers in all aspects of Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management
  • Provide input to contract-related documentation development, including requirements analysis and verification
  • Apply Configuration and Data Management principles to ensure compliance with program and contractual requirements
  • Serve as primary liaison between government customers, contractors, and internal company departments
  • Perform independent technical reviews and assessments of performance specification requirements
  • Analyze requirements flow-down and allocation to ensure consistency and traceability
  • Evaluate engineering drawings, specifications, parts lists, and bills of material in accordance with DoD contract requirements
  • Lead and support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), Physical Configuration Audits (PCA), and Production Configuration Management Audits, including reporting results and recommending corrective actions
  • Participate in Integrated Product Team Meetings and Program Design Reviews
  • Conduct reviews of contractual document submittals and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Interface daily with government customers, prime contractors, and support contractors to identify and resolve documentation issues and discrepancies
  • Support resolution of configuration and documentation problems through analysis and recommended corrective actions
  • Leverage knowledge of manufacturing processes, policies, and DoD acquisition lifecycle activities to support program execution
