We are pleased to announce the opening for a Configuration Analyst who will join our Digital Transformation, Acquisition, Modernization, and Modification (DTAMM) Program supporting in Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), CA and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for performing system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence needed for the Spaceport of the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and five (5) years or more experience; master’s and three (3) years or more experience; PhD or JD and zero (0) years or more experience in a technical field such as Engineering. Six (6) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience in configuration management processes and practices.
  • Possess or can obtain an active Secret clearance.
  • U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Western Range (Vandenberg SFB) instrumentation, capabilities, technologies, and processes.
  • Experience in drafting
  • Experience creating, editing, and reviewing drawings using AutoCAD
  • Experience in product design and product structure
  • Experience utilizing product lifecycle management tools (e.g. Windchill, Teamscenter)
  • Experience in Government/Department of Defense (DoD) configuration management processes.
  • Experience modernizing systems in a DoD environment.
  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to government customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications.
  • Review all issued document change requests, document change notices and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness, and proper signatures.
  • Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
  • Structure and maintain databases, submit engineering changes to customers for review and approval, and maintain records and submit reports regarding status.
  • Prepare configuration verification audit record sheets for all programs.
  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives.
  • Establish and recommend changes to policies, which affect subordinate organization(s).
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
