The Conference Services Co-op will work with Goodwin’s Conference Services and Events Department to learn about the planning, production and execution of firm events including business meetings, retreats, client programs and training programs. The co-op will be assigned a wide array of duties related to events and programs in Goodwin’s offices. This role will interact with various firm vendors and departments throughout their co-op gaining valuable exposure to how the department functions. While this role will focus on Conference Services in our Boston Office, there will be exposure to and related tasks for the greater Event Planning and Conference Services Team and the programs and events they support globally for the firm both in Goodwin’s offices and beyond.

Requirements

  • Confident, collaborative and eager to take initiative.
  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate, verbally and in writing, with people at all levels in the firm.
  • Adept at managing multiple projects while prioritizing assignments and adhering to deadlines.
  • Possess strong organizational skills with particular attention to detail.
  • Have strong computer skills, including web-based research, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience (co-op or internship) in an events, marketing, or professional services environment strongly preferred.
