About The Position

Based in the New York office, this role plays a key part in shaping and executing the Businesses global event strategy. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering in-person, and virtual events across US Markets, predominantly for the Investment Banking division. The role demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across business divisions to ensure alignment with strategic goals and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proven experience in the financial sector with 4 years of event planning experience (experience in Corporate Access conferences considered a plus)
  • Able to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with good presentation and organization skills
  • Experience with managing registration websites
  • Occasional travel may be required for event coordination, client meetings or on-site support
  • Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple overlapping programs simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Eventogy (or CVENT), Buy the Sell, SharePoint, Excel and other Microsoft Platforms
  • Confidence in communicating at all levels globally and to a diverse external network

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person, and virtual events, focusing on strategic business partnerships
  • Partner with Sr. Meeting planners to support flagship conferences and high visibility events
  • Collaborate with other bank divisions, stakeholders, and external vendors to define event goals and ensure seamless global event delivery, including venue management and coordination with in-house and agency teams
  • Liaise with senior management and offices to facilitate smooth client invitation processes
  • Manage event budgets, track expenditure against purchase orders, reconcile costs, and drive cost-efficiencies
  • Oversee the client journey by optimizing delegate management systems and digital tools, and deliver strategic, accurate, and business-focused event data insights through registration and attendance reports
