Concrete Saw Operator (Concrete Cutter)
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Saw Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating concrete saws and cutting equipment to perform precise cuts on various concrete structures for a range of projects including demolition, renovation, restoration, repair, and new construction. You will also assist with concrete restoration tasks, ensure accurate measurements, maintain equipment, and adhere to all safety protocols. This position requires the ability to work on diverse job sites, including commercial, industrial, military, and government locations, and to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain DBIDS military badging which includes a background check.
- Must have the REAL ID or ability to obtain one.
- Clean driving record, or no-fault accidents, to qualify for our Company Auto Insurance.
- Ability to drive to project sites within the cities in the 757 area.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate concrete saws and cutting equipment to cut concrete, pavement, and structures.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Perform concrete cutting for demolition, renovation, restoration, repair, and new construction projects.
- Cut floors, walls, pavement, structural concrete, bridges, tunnels, seawalls, and other concrete structures as needed.
- Assist with concrete restoration, including crack repair, patching, grinding, polishing, and epoxy applications.
- Measure and mark cutting locations to ensure accurate work.
- Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to complete work safely and on schedule.
- Inspect, maintain, and properly use all tools and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the project.
- Use water and other methods to control dust and cool cutting equipment.
- Follow OSHA and all site-specific safety requirements.
- Work on commercial, industrial, military, and government job sites as assigned.
