About The Position

Tradesmen International is hiring a Concrete Form Worker for projects in or around Irondequoit, New York. This is a first-shift opportunity with pay up to $25 per hour, based on experience and skill level. The worker will support residential and apartment concrete construction projects, including concrete removal and replacement, site preparation, formwork, concrete placement and finishing, and jobsite cleanup. This role is intended for someone eager to learn and grow in the trades while working alongside experienced craft professionals.

Requirements

Experience in concrete construction.
Be clean-cut, professional, and dependable.
Ability to perform heavy physical labor throughout the workday.
Ability to regularly lift more than 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods.
Experience using hand and power tools, including shovels, trowels, screeds, saws, and jackhammers.
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of concrete formwork, placement, and finishing.
Understanding of OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage.

Responsibilities

Tear out and replace concrete sidewalks, driveways, patios, and foundations.
Assist with residential and apartment concrete construction projects.
Prepare worksites by removing debris, digging trenches, grading soil, and compacting sub-bases.
Build, align, and set wood or metal concrete forms.
Shovel and rake concrete and guide wet concrete into forms.
Use power vibrators to eliminate air pockets and ensure proper concrete placement.
Assist with surface finishing, cutting expansion joints, and applying curing or waterproofing sealants.
Dismantle forms and clean up jobsites.
Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
Follow jobsite safety procedures and company policies.
