About The Position

The Concrete Finisher finishes exposed surfaces of fresh concrete paving, median barriers, and concrete structural elements to a final finish. The role operates a bridge deck finishing machine; forms and finishes edges and joints; finishes concrete curbs and gutters; and repairs imperfections in exposed concrete surfaces after forms are removed. Repairs may involve applying fresh concrete, rubbing surfaces with an abrasive stone, and directing others to remove excess or defective concrete with power tools. The position also performs related duties that support company operations and follows safety policies and procedures. Work is performed outdoors in changing weather conditions and involves strenuous physical activity and manual dexterity. Webber is part of Ferrovial Construction, a global infrastructure company. Requirements

Less than a high school diploma.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items, work with fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Ability to perform strenuous, heavy physical activity of a primarily productive or technical nature.

Operate a bridge deck finishing machine.
Form and finish edges and joints.
Finish concrete curbs and gutters.
Finish exposed concrete surfaces after forms have been removed by patching imperfections with fresh concrete and rubbing surfaces with an abrasive stone.
Direct others in removing excess or defective concrete with power tools.
Perform other related duties and tasks that support company operations.
Comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report unsafe activities to a supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Lead by example and share knowledge and skills with others.
