The Concierge responds to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. They respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction. The Concierge gathers, summarizes, and provides information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities. They also answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns, and contact the appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems. The role involves reviewing shift logs/daily memo books and documenting pertinent information in logbooks, as well as monitoring the club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and the well-being of guests. Additionally, the Concierge reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager and completes safety training and certifications. They must follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. The Concierge welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards, anticipates and addresses guests’ service needs, assists individuals with disabilities, and thanks guests with genuine appreciation. They speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals, and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees are also key aspects of this role. The Concierge must comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. This role requires standing, sitting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift, and performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. They may also move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
