About The Position

The Concierge is the first impression of Thornwood Apartments in Germantown and is responsible for providing superior customer service to residents. This part-time role manages the front desk, greets residents and visitors, monitors surveillance cameras, and helps ensure resident satisfaction and community safety. The schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.; on the alternate weekends, the hours are 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Requirements

2–4 years of concierge, front desk, or customer service experience.
Availability to work a flexible schedule any day of the week, including weekends.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful, and able to work independently.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage the front desk and greet and assist residents and their guests courteously and efficiently.
Provide exemplary customer service and contribute to overall resident satisfaction.
Answer telephone calls, provide information, forward calls, and take messages as needed.
Help ensure the safety and security of the apartment community by being aware of who enters and exits the property.
Ensure non-residents, including guests, tradespeople, and delivery personnel, are approved by a resident or the management office.
Monitor surveillance cameras for unauthorized persons on the property and doors that have been propped open.
Contact the police department as needed.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
