About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a dependable, customer-service-focused, part-time Concierge for The Barclay at Tuckahoe. The Concierge offers hospitality to residents, guests, and employees and serves as the community’s first impression. The position primarily works weekends and also requires weekday availability for occasional 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shifts. The role is part of a 24-hour operation and may include holidays as requested. The stated salary is $17.00–$18.00.

Requirements

• Have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of general office experience, including reception experience.
• Professional and polished manner, proper grammar, and a pleasant voice tone.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, oral, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Attentiveness to detail and ability to multitask while handling multiple interruptions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour operation, including weekends and holidays as requested.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with the older adult population.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Offer high-level hospitality to residents, guests, and employees.
• Handle front desk responsibilities, including answering the phone courteously with proper greetings and directing visitors appropriately.
• Ensure appropriate visitor check-in and check-out procedures are followed.
• Keep the lobby and front porch area clean and free of trash.
• Assist with activities conducted in the lobby near the phone and front door, and lead weekend or evening activities when there is less traffic.
• Assist with other general office tasks upon request.
