About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a dependable, customer-service-focused part-time Concierge for The Barclay at Tuckahoe. The Concierge provides a welcoming first impression and hospitality to residents, guests, and employees while handling front desk duties and supporting lobby activities and general office tasks. The position primarily works weekends and requires weekday availability for occasional 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shifts. Flexible scheduling in a 24-hour operation, including weekends and holidays as requested, is required.

Requirements

• A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of general office experience, including reception experience.
• Professional and polished demeanor, proper grammar, and a pleasant voice tone.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time-management, and oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and work through multiple interruptions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour operation, including weekends and holidays as requested.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with the older adult population.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level hospitality to residents, guests, and employees as the first point of contact.
• Answer the phone courteously using proper greetings and direct visitors appropriately; ensure appropriate check-in and check-out procedures are followed.
• Keep the lobby and front porch area clean and free of trash.
• Assist with activities in the lobby near the phone and front door, and lead weekend or evening activities when traffic is lighter.
• Assist with other general office tasks upon request.
