About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Concierges for Part-time and Full-time opportunities. You are the first impression of this location. You will greet residents and visitors of the building with a warm welcome and assist them as needed. The concierge sets the tone and is a valuable team member of the property.

Requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
  • A high school degree or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, interacting with other employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when working with the residents, providing resolution as needed to resident issues.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients & visitors as they enter the emergency department waiting room.
  • Keep track of wheelchairs available at the front and escalate to navigation when more are needed.
  • Keep waiting room glass clean and escalate interior messes to the Environmental Services team when necessary.
  • Round on patients and visitors while they are waiting and collaborate with the hospitality liaison for updates and delays.
  • Put visitor bands on visitors and collaborate with the hospitality liaison and unit receptionists to locate patients and escort the visitor to the bedside.
  • Assist visitor bands on visitors and collaborate with the hospitality liaison and unit receptionists to locate patients and escort the visitor to the bedside.
  • Ensures a first impression of great customer service by cordially greeting prospective residents and on-site inquiries.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly Desk at all times, free of debris and trash.
  • Maintain the required company standards by wearing the company uniform, stating the company greeting, answering customer questions, resolving issues, and thanking each customer upon exit.
  • Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrences to the local manager in a timely manner.
  • Helps with community arrangements, such as the moving-in and moving-out procedures
  • keeps up local knowledge and information sources relevant to the needs of residents, such as transportation, entertainment, and facilities.
  • Oversees the delivery of all packages, recording arrival details and informing residents of them within a day.
  • May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company’s maintenance checklists.
  • Other special projects as assigned by location management.
