About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a customer-service-focused security role in Houston, Texas. The officer will work with people across a range of shifts and in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The role involves welcoming and assisting visitors, managing access, monitoring the site, responding to incidents, and helping protect people and property.

The posting lists full-time and part-time schedules, with multiple shifts and schedules available. Compensation is $16 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost, and DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills and successfully complete a computer proficiency test.
• Have at least one year of security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• Hold a state license if required.
• Have a valid driver's license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them as needed.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
