About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Tampa, Florida. The role emphasizes customer service and building meaningful connections while providing security in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. Two schedules are listed: a full-time Monday–Friday schedule from 12:01 a.m. to 8:01 a.m. (40 hours), and a part-time Saturday–Sunday schedule from 12:01 a.m. to 8:01 a.m. (16 hours). The wage is $17.00 per hour. DailyPay is available to GardaWorld employees.

The officer welcomes and assists visitors, manages access control, conducts patrols, monitors and reports security risks, responds to incidents, and helps protect people and property. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended. A uniform is provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a Florida Class D Security License.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.

• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
