About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Ambassador to provide security and customer service in a concierge post. The role emphasizes building meaningful connections and reassuring visitors through confident, helpful interactions. Work may take place in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The position is based in Decatur, Illinois. The full-time schedule varies and includes third-shift hours from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Sunday first-shift hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The hourly wage is $19. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state license if required.
• Be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
