This position is responsible for completing opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and locking doors. The attendant will also set up, stock, and maintain work areas, stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies, and remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables. Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools according to set-up guidelines is crucial. The role also requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. Uniform and personal appearance must be clean and professional, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The attendant will welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communication should be clear and professional, with a focus on developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals. Quality expectations and standards must be met. The role involves reading and visually verifying information, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are required for manipulating objects. The attendant must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also part of the job. Other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors may be assigned.
