Our Marriott Fort Lauderdale North boasts 315 guest rooms, 11,774 square feet of meeting space, and a restaurant. What you will have an opportunity to do: As the Concierge Lounge Attendant, you are the heart of the lounge experience. You will play an important role in the food and beverage side of the lounge, ensuring that everything presented to guests meets our quality and presentation standards, that the space is always clean, well-organized, and inviting, and that every detail reflects the level of care our guests expect from a world-class property.

Requirements

  • A genuinely engaging personality and a real passion for creating memorable, personalized experiences for guests
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build authentic connections with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • A polished, professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the standards of the Marriott brand
  • Flexibility to work varying evening shifts based on the needs of the hotel, including weekends and holidays
  • A self-motivated work ethic; you do not wait to be told what needs to happen, you see it and you take care of it
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage roll similarly guest-facing hospitality role is strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand and remain active on your feet throughout the shift
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • some college or hospitality coursework is a plus
  • Knowledge of food and beverage standards and presentation is a plus given the club lounge component of this role

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and welcoming every guest who enters the Lounge with a warm, sincere, and professional demeanor that immediately makes them feel at home
  • Ensuring the food and beverage offerings in the lounge are consistently high quality, beautifully presented, and maintained according to brand and company standards
  • Complying at all times with Pyramid Global Hospitality standards, policies, and regulations
  • Being familiar with all emergency procedures and assisting as required in any emergency situation
  • Maintaining the highest standards of personal appearance and grooming in accordance with brand standards
