This role involves receiving liquor, beer, and wine from the storeroom, replenishing bar stock during the shift, retrieving food and beverage items, setting up liquor bottles, ensuring beer taps are functional, stocking bar snacks and napkins, assisting with opening and closing duties, bussing tables in the bar area, maintaining cleanliness of bar areas, removing rubbish, and preparing/serving beverages as needed to assist the bartender.

Requirements

• Must be able to retrieve all needed food items from kitchen and deliver to bar area.
• Must be able to retrieve all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and deliver to bar area.
• Must be able to set up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
• Must be able to ensure beer taps are working properly.
• Must be able to place appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout shift.
• Must be able to assist in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Must be able to bus tables in bar area.
• Must be able to help ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
• Must be able to ensure rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Must be able to prepare and serve beverages as needed to assist bartender.
• Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Replenishes all liquor, beer and wine as needed in the bar throughout the shift.
• Retrieves all needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area.
• Retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area.
• Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
• Ensures beer taps are working properly.
• Places appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout shift.
• Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Buses tables in bar area.
• Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
• Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
• Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
