Concession Worker- Arena
About The Position
The Concession Stand Attendant plays a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by providing fast, friendly, and efficient service. This position is responsible for taking and preparing food and beverage orders, handling cash transactions, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and restocking supplies as needed. Attendants are expected to demonstrate strong customer service skills, uphold health and safety standards, and support the overall operations of the concession and arena operations. This role requires flexibility in working primarily nights and weekends, the ability to stand for extended periods, and the capacity to lift up to 25 pounds. Ideal candidates are reliable, self-motivated, and hard-working individuals who thrive in a team environment and are willing to perform a variety of duties as assigned by full-time staff.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Flexible schedule requiring nights and weekends
- Ability to manage cash flow
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and communicate with other employees.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Able to perform all essential position functions under the working conditions as described
- Self-motivated and a hard-working individual
- Ability to provide high quality customer service
- Willingness to clean/stock throughout the workday
Responsibilities
- Take orders for food and beverage from customers
- Prepare food and beverage orders
- Provide quality customer service to patrons in a welcoming and friendly manner
- Operate a cash register and have the ability to correctly make change
- Perform daily/weekly cleaning duties throughout the workday
- Restock supplies throughout the workday
- Perform all other duties as requested by full-time staff
