About The Position

NOW HIRING: Concessions Staff at The Elevator inside Pullman Moscow Regional Airport (PUW) Join Team PUW and Help Create Exceptional Guest Experiences! We’re looking for enthusiastic, people-focused individuals to prepare and serve delicious hand-crafted food and beverages and support customers with making purchases at the concessionaire. The Concessions Staff will attend customers, ensure proper stock is maintained, and prepare food and beverages.

Requirements

  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to maintain a welcoming atmosphere with coworkers and customers
  • Basic cooking and knife skills
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to listen to, read, and follow instructions
  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines
  • Experience with or ability to learn Toast point of sale system
  • Must have or be willing to acquire MAST Alcohol Server Permit
  • Must have or acquire Washington State Food Handlers Card
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Successful completion of TSA required background check required
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the airport quickly
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Make coffee and lotus drinks, prepare food to correct specifications
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
  • Follow protocols for service and handling of alcohol
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of the concessionaire and dining experience
  • Follow specific instructions regarding placement of product and preparation of product.
  • Become well versed about the concept of the concessionaire so as to properly appraise guests of its offerings
  • Ensure cash is handled appropriately and cash drawer balances at End of Day and Shift Change
  • Prepare catering orders as instructed
  • Documents feedback from guests in regards to desires and experiences within the airport
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Benefits

  • 20-40 hours per week, depending on schedule
  • Starting wage $17.50 DOE, plus tips
  • Positions may be eligible for retirement benefits through WA State DRS
