About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, this role contributes to the efficient daily operation of Food & Beverage activities by filling all food orders for Bingo Concessions. This includes cashiering, cooking, and delivery tasks, all performed in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. The position requires maintaining professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Six (6) months of food service experience.
  • A combination of relevant education and related work experience may be considered.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain Food Handler’s certification.
  • Must be able to submit supporting documentation of education and training to support qualifications.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to licensing rules and regulations.
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Personal reference check and employment verification
  • Federal, State, and/or tribal criminal history backgrounds will be conducted

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work area prior to opening; breaks down workstations upon closing.
  • Prepares menu items, including deep-frying, broiling, steaming, or grilling in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Greets customers; takes orders; responds to questions and issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Ensures quality and appearance of all food prepared.
  • Operates point of sale system, collects payment, and provides accurate change to customer as necessary.
  • Performs side work duties as assigned.
  • Cleans and restocks area at close of shift.
  • Maintains complete and accurate inventory of food, production, and serving supplies.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
