About The Position

The Computer Vision Software Engineer will build computer vision software for lithography and metrology on semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The work includes modeling optical systems, developing nanometer-scale alignment methods such as fiducials and calibration, and iterating on real hardware. The role also develops vision systems for wafer-handling and process-automation equipment, as well as post-lithography metrology capabilities including defect detection and optical proximity correction (OPC) modeling. The engineer will collaborate with full-stack, mechanical, electrical, optical, and process engineers on cross-functional problems. fab2 is open to candidates ranging from early-career to experienced engineers; it emphasizes a strong mathematical and programming background and the ability to experiment and learn.
