About The Position

Marathon TS is seeking a Senior Computer User Support specialist for the upcoming CASTLE-NET Services RFP opportunity with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This role provides essential IT infrastructure and end-user device support across various USACE program field offices. The position requires a strong understanding of IT policies, network performance, and end-user assistance, ensuring the smooth operation of critical IT services for the USACE enterprise. The role involves proactive wellness checks, troubleshooting, IT equipment disposal support, and managing IT issue tickets. The ideal candidate will act as a technical expert, capable of leading assignments and contributing to project success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
8 years of experience in IT and/or field/user support roles.
Excellent technical knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with IT equipment setup and maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficient in remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Willing to travel.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
Familiarity with USACE IT environment and policies.

Responsibilities

Provides on-site technical support and assistance by deploying to CASTLE-NET program field offices for IT infrastructure and end-user device wellness checks.
Conducts network performance evaluations.
Checks conference room equipment.
Supports end-user devices.
Ensures compliance with USACE IT policies.
Assists with IT equipment disposal training.
Supports onsite personnel with IT issue ticketing.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May supervise others.
