About The Position

This is an 11-month exempt position with a salary scale of U11. The role involves planning and providing appropriate learning experiences for students, supervising students in various school-related settings, and monitoring and evaluating student outcomes. The teacher will develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students, while fostering an environment conducive to intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Maintaining professional competence, appropriate records, and regular attendance are key aspects of the role. The position also includes serving on committees and performing other duties as prescribed by Maryland State Law, Board of Education policy, Negotiated Agreement, and the Building Principal. Requirements

  • Must hold a License in CISCO Systems.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Meets Licensure requirements as established by the Maryland State Department of Education.
  • Other experience as established by Maryland Law and Board of Education policy.
  • Knowledge of subject matter and appropriate instructional methodologies.
  • Evidence of exemplary human relation skills.
  • Evidence of exemplary organizational and planning skills.
  • Evidence of ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three to five years industry experience using Cisco can be considered in place of degree.
