This is an 11-month exempt position with a salary scale of U11. The role involves planning and providing appropriate learning experiences for students, supervising students in various school-related settings, and monitoring and evaluating student outcomes. The teacher will develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students, while fostering an environment conducive to intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development. Maintaining professional competence, appropriate records, and regular attendance are key aspects of the role. The position also includes serving on committees and performing other duties as prescribed by Maryland State Law, Board of Education policy, Negotiated Agreement, and the Building Principal.
