About The Position

BlueForce Inc. is seeking a Computer Systems Associate/Network Engineer to support HQ USAF-sponsored or supported wargaming. The role supports planning, execution, management, and analysis throughout all phases of HQ DAF wargames. The primary location is Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, with secondary locations at Joint Base Andrews and The Pentagon. The position requires an active Secret-level security clearance, at least five years of network management and engineering experience, and compliance with DoD 8570.01-M at IAT Level II or III. IAT Level II work focuses on network and enclave environments, including securing network devices, firewalls, and operating systems. IAT Level III work focuses on enterprise-level enclave environments and requires architecture-level judgment.

Requirements

Active Secret-level security clearance.
At least five years of experience in network management and engineering.
Meet DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program requirements at IAT Level II or III.
Knowledge of Air Force IT enterprise and system administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including writing and presenting briefings.
For IAT Level II, responsibilities and expertise include intrusion detection, system auditing, implementing security patches, and configuring network defenses.
For IAT Level III, responsibilities and expertise include designing network security architectures, analyzing complex vulnerabilities, advanced incident response, and directing security engineering teams.
An IAT Level II or III certification appropriate to the level, such as one of the certifications listed in the posting.
