About The Position

Brigham Young University (BYU) is seeking outstanding candidates in all areas of computer science for two full-time, professorial faculty positions. These roles require a strong research orientation, scholarly abilities, and the capacity to teach effectively in both graduate and undergraduate environments. Successful candidates will be contributing members of the department and university, expected to support and advance BYU's unique mission. The position requires relocation to Utah and adherence to the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards. BYU is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Ph.D. in computer science or a related field, completed by the start date.
Outstanding candidates in all areas of computer science.
Ability to teach effectively in both graduate and undergraduate environments.
Strong research orientation and scholarly abilities.
Willingness to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
Abide by the university’s Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
Successful candidates are expected to support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrine of the affiliated church.
